The TI-83 has more advanced statistics than other TI machines straight out of
the box, but TI make the stats package from the 83 available for some of
their other machines (the 86, 89 and 92 IIRC), so perhaps the best thing for
you is to download the infstat package from TI's web site and install it into
your 86.  Then you'll have so many stats tests, etc., you won't know what to
do with them all!
