I own my TI85 for about three years. During this time I never used the
linkport. A few days ago I wanted to exchange some programms with the TI85 of
my friend. We found out that my linkport doesn't work. I was impossible to
establish a connection to the other calculator. Even a connection with
graph-link to my friends pc doesn't work. It seems to me that I bought the
calculator with the malfunction and now the warranty is over for years.

Today I opened the calculator and checked the parts inside. The linkport in
its mechanical aspect seems to be okay. The rest is soldered with custom-chips
and smd-stuff. Its impossible for me to check this.

Are there any tips for repairing the linkport?

Maybe someone wants to sell me his damaged TI85 (e.g. with broken a display or
keyboard and a well working linkport)?

Does anyone know a repair-center for TI-calculators in germany?
