it seems the calc. calculated (for the -10 deg. C) -18-32 = -50 deg. F.
for the -1 deg. C one, too, it seems the calc. did -1.8-32 = -33.8 deg. F.
actually, it should be PLUS: -18 PLUS 32, and -1.8 PLUS 32.
degrees F. = (9/5)(degrees C.)+32.
unfortunately, i can't check that out because i don't have a ti-85.
