I'm assuming that you're trying to connect a TI-85 to a PC, right..?

I use Win3.1 and the "$4" serial link with the DOS program, link85x.
link85 was written for the newer TI graphlink, but link85x works with
the serial link. Notice the 'x'. It is part of the file you'll
download.  Because the newer graphlink uses different hardware, the new
software (link85.exe) was written differently. That is why it will not
work with the serial link.. they're similar to the old TI graphlink.
