 I also noticed that with bd.  But I have something else to say.  I'm not
 sure if this could be used for anything, maybe for hiding the libs in
 the var-link screen, but I used far-gray to make a picture to put on the
 calc.  It was named 1701-e.  When I transfered it to the calc, it didn't
 show up on the var-link screen.  I did show up when I started fargo, so
 I was able to look at it.  I just couldn't delete it.  I even tried
 deleting it from the home screen (delvar 1701-e) and that didn't work. 
 Maybe this could be used to implement some sort of hidden file system? 
 I have ROM v 1.4.

I think that it doesn't show up because the name starts with a number. The
first letter (whatever) has to be a letter, not a number, to show up on
VAR-LINK.
