LF: Re: Modem program

In a message dated 96-12-17 18:33:20 EST, you write:

<< I like your modem program for Fargo, yet can't get it to work?

I run fterm, yet what do I type on my calc to connect to a bbs?
How do I use this as a terminal?
I know that you are probably being bombarded by questions such as these,
yet if you would either tell the fargo list of write me back, I would be
 very much appreciative. Thanks!

Do you know what the Hays command set is? ex:
at&fe0s0=0
atdtXXX-XXXX
Anyway, you type these commands on the calc, and the modem will dial the
number XXX-XXXX. If this number is a modem, then the two modems will connect,
and you can start typing junk to the remote terminal or whatever (bbs).
When you want to hang up, do this:
pause a second, type +++, pause a second
the modem will be back in command mode. now type ath0 to hang up.

Is this helpful? :)
