"Garbage Archiving?"  If you mean "Garbacge Collecting" this means that the
TI-89/92+ is restructuring you archives to use up the empty spaces that were
left when you unarchived them (you are probably using DoorsOS Beta 2).  It
sorta like a Windows Defrag that will move all of you programs to the
beginning of the hard drive so that access times are better.  If you want a
better explanation, I suggest you read pages 345-346 in the TI-89 manual.
