I don't know about DiskEdit from NU for Win, but the old DOS versions read the
hard drive _very_ directly (Win95 even complains about it...), which means that
it will not only work with an EIDE drive, it will read a drive that isn't
partitioned, too, and search for byte sequences.  Hint: try
$23,$69,$6E,$63,$6C,$75,$64,$65,$20,$22 (#include ") for .asm files...
