The stack you are talking about on RAM page 1 does not go from $800b to
$bfea, but is two stacks, the FPS starting at $8000 and going up, and the
OPS starting at $bfff and going down. When you start an asm program, the FPS
happens to be filled to $800b and the OPS to $bfea.

Note that these stacks are different from the register stack, which is what
people usually mean when they refer to "the stack".
