LZ: batteries, and how to make your ti-85 better!

>BTW - anyone know why the one in there never works? :)

it does, but only sometimes. Let's just say the calc. wasn't inteneded for
us to screw with in weird ways like this. Oh well.
I have a GOOD idea for any user out there to make his/her ti-85
better then bought and it is very easy. I'm not gonna explain the detail
(for they are documented in the accelerating your ti-85 documents) but if
you open your ti-85 and drop two drops of superglue on either side of
where the hole thingy attached to a micro pcb board (for you i/o port) you
will significantly strenghten the thing. My link had broken because after
pluging in and out so many times the solder connectiosn had broken. I
resoldered and added two drops of glue to strenghten the connection and
what do you know, my link it better then new and always works, not to
mention is strong as hell. Easy for anybody to do, I'd recomend it to all
of you before you break your i/o port and have to solder it (I asked ti
and they said it would cost $64 bucks for me to send it to them to fix it,
take three weeks, I didn't hav eto pay a buck and it took me 5 minutes!)
	Just an idea.
