Essentially there is a 512KB amd flash rom as opposed to the rom chip the 83
uses which is a real rom. Somewhere (check the list for this and the t6a04
pdf file) there was a pdf file on the flash chip they use. (Someone want to
point this out? I am just too lazy to look it up right now)
