A83: Official Reply from the Hays Corporation

To all A83 members, especially Thomas J. Hruska,

WTF?

There, now that I have cleared that up, it seems to Hays that many of you
have not yet seen the new Hays URL:

http://www.geocities.com/hayscorporation/

There you will find a section labeled Program Archvies. Click on it. A
page will open with 10 cheap SOS programs with a screen shot for each.
Notice none on them are copied. Now press back. See the link labeled
Upcomming Programs? Now click on that one. Notice these are all originals
as well. You know, it saddens Hays to see that after one small mistake 2
years ago, some members of the TiCommunity are afraid that Hays will steal
there small, free, 5k Ti calculator program. This is rediculas. Hays has
bigger fish to fry, do you think we would spend time on Shining Light
productions, or whatever you call yourselves? I can't even think of one
program you have made off the top of my head. That's ok though. Another
thing, people accuse Hays of spamming this mailing list. Look, the only
thing we post here are announcments that our new URL is open or we are
coming out with a new game. The only spams sent to this list are messages
from individuals such as ol' Tommy Boy here who thinks we are violating
copyright laws by releasing 10 original SOS programs. If anyone, those of
you releasing games like "Tetris," "Snake," and "Pong," as well as others
are the ones who need to be worrying about copyright problems. Those
programs have actually been sold for money and are actually copyrighted.
Hays is just making cheap little programs to piss Joe Wingbermuhel off and
make him leave the community. So in conclusion,

Fuck Off,
Hays Games Co.
