RE: A83: Calling all great programmers!!

Agreed!

However, from the mail sent back and forth (wasn't easy because so many
insulting messages had to be filtered out :-( ), I found out that he uses
an 83+...

So simply asmguru with the TI83 includes don't work.

But you can use ASMGuru without reading all other tutorials if you include
the TI83Plus.inc file from mirageos instead of the tokens.inc and
ti83asm.inc, use obj8x.exe or bin8x.exe (I put them somewhere on TICalc.org
(www.ticalc.org/pub/dos/asm or something like that), and remember to use
"bcall([macro])" instead of "call [macro]".

(Mirageos is somewhere on TICalc too or at www.detatcheds.org/mirageos
(isn't that right Dan?)

It worked for me to (re)learn TI83+ Assembly recently (I did a little bit
regular TI83 2 years before, but forgot it already)

Hope this helps,

Greets,
Peter Martijn Kuipers

P.S.
You really shouldn't tell anyone you think you may be stupid (if anyone was
stupid they surely wouldn't be on this mailinglist.... or even be trying
ASM)

P.P.S.
To everyone:
we really mustn't pick on someone for accideltally saying something stupid,
remember we only see the words, not the facial expressions or intonations,
and we are all human ;-)

Okay everybody. He is some very desperite man, he isn't using AOL so he
has to have some sort of (Extra Terrestial ?) intelligence...

So far the cinistic part...
"-Direct G-" what have you found already, that could help you yourself?
I'm pointing on things like:

1. Downloading "AsmGuru" by James Mathew
2. Downloading "Tasm", 'our' assembler
3. Downloading the Ti-83 'include-files'

Instead of the last two, you could also download:
"AsmStudio8x", but I recomend this only if you have an internet-connection
faster than 33k6... (some 16 Meg file you know).

First read the "AsmGuru" and than we will talk again. At least read (and
understand) the first 10/15 tuturials...

PS: Also looking at otherones source-code could help alot, AsmGuru only
gave me the theoretical knowledge to program. But by attempting to
'improve' other programs I've learned alot.

And hmm, another thing, I really don't know much about Z80-assembly, but
you won't see it in my e-mails. Telling everybody that you're a "tiny
little (green) man, who asks: 'Please, please, help me', because I'm is
so-o-o-o-ooo helpless" isn't going to work (at least I think it won't).
