June 2003 Newsletter Released
Posted by Joey on 11 June 2003, 03:44 GMT

The June 2003 issue of the ticalc.org newsletter has been sent out. Anyone subscribed to the plain text or HTML lists should have received it by now. The 89 and 92+ eBooks have been updated, and a new 83+ version for the Notefolio app has been released.

Update (Joey): The May and June newsletters are now available online on the official Newsletter page.

"I still need to manually edit the HTML, but I hope to have the May and June 2003 issues available on the site tomorrow."

I know.
I've tried joining many a time.
Maybe ticalc should give us a form that allows us to join? Until then I'll stick with the NoteFolio one.

Really? I just subscribed to the HTML list so I would get both newsletters and make sure that they were done right (which they weren't. ;-) ) I don't see what's so hard about subscribing...

NOOOOOOOOO! My HTML Newsletter doesn't look right. There's a bunch of gibberish mixed in with the text. WHAT HAPPENED!

That "gibberish" is what makes it HTML :)

i believe they decided that the only people worthy of seeing the newsletter are those who understand html. if you don't understand it, tough luck.

Four words about the movie:
Too Much Free Time :)
I thought it was quite interesting, though (I, too, knew only "muchas gracias, senor")

The newsletter looks thorough and well done.

The CROCODILE is only random the first time. The second time, he is part of the theme of social justice, as well as fulfilling your foreshadowing. ("El cocodrilo malvado va a morder tus piernas.") Anyway, thanx again for your help, nightrose. I'm rather proud of my movie, and it looks like most people enjoyed it.

<sarcasm> Ah, but of course! It MUST be an alligator since you called it "El COCODRILO malvado." My mistake. </sarcasm>
