CalcCapture 1.0 Released
Posted by Morgan on 19 May 2003, 09:53 GMT

André Felix Miertschink has released CalcCapture 1.0 a "successor" to VTI Capture 1.1. It includes the ability to make screenshots, either animated or still, from multiple emulators, not just VTI. It adds compatibility with Windows XP and can even take screenshots using any skin compatible with VTI. And for all you HP buffs out there, it even adds support for the HP48G and HP49G calcs.

So there shouldn't be any reason why your programs don't have screenshots when you upload them...right! :-)

Now I just need to make some games to create screenshots for. Or something for the TI-App contest.

Will this screenshot program take _animated screenshots_ with VTI's new floating skins that don't work with TISSHOT?

If it does, then I will be very happy...

Is there any way VTI will take a ROM other than having it in the same directory or downloading from my calc?

If it does, then I will be <me>very</me> happy...

I'm going to <me>kill</me> you if you write <me> again.

Nah, I think it has to be in the same directory.

Windows Melenium (sp) Edition. Probably the worst OS Microsoft made. BTW that excludes the whole Windows line. Go Apple!

If it has a .rom extension, is in the same directory and VTI doesn't recognize it, then the file is corrupted. Try dumping it again.

I can't get VTI to work with my silver TI-Connect cable...the ROM dumper doesn't have an option for the USB connection. Any ideas? I tried to use VTI v3.0, but all I got was an access violation. Can anyone help?

use flash debug from ti and put everything on it and then save it and there should be a clc file that you can use with VTI 3.0 ( i usually choose close and then save and it creates a clc file fine.)

Same for me... I said "Don't move the emulator when taking screenshot" or something like that...

I like this program!
It not only works with VTI, but with any PC software (I've been using it to make animated gifs from QuickTime player of the T3 trailers, compressing in TiVid, then sending 'em to my calc)

I have used it with every calc except the v200. It works perfectly on windows 98 using VTI. I am going to try other emulators later. Great Job. Makes my life easier especially since the other version didn't work properly with the default TI-89 VTI skin.
