I agree. Especially considering that a survey done a while back was what your sex was, and I think it was over 200 people who responded, one of whom was female. Come on guys, you have to be kidding about that thong!

And another thing, I think there should be a T-shirt with the ticalc.org logo, not just a bunch of different staff members' pictures... people will realize what your t-shirt means if it has the ticalc.org logo on it, but a pic of some random guy named Magnus with "All your base are belong to Magnus" is pretty lame and really has very little to do with TI calculators.

Another idea is to possibly make a sports jersey with the number 83 or 86 or 89 or 92 corresponding with your personal favorite calculator. You could also have a pic of the actual calculator on the front of the jersey.

To sum it up, get that thong outta there. The vast majority of users on this site are male, and even if they were to buy it for their girlfriends, who would want to give their girlfriend a thong with a pic of some random guy!? Get rid of the thong NOW.

I consulted with two of my überhot female friends before we started this project, and they both said they dug Magnus and would wear a thong with his picture. Despite the fact that they preferred nickd, Magnus only wanted the original staff. Perhaps he was jealous of nickd...

sell the old archive CDs, "inapropriot material" Ticalc archive CDa are probably collector items now, or just whole archive CD's, but it has to have ticalc.org on it, or a calc model, or something cool involving CALCULATORS. It's definitely an April fools joke. I think they told us they'd outline the fake news in red, just to get us to believe some other random bit of craziness they would think of.

I agree wholeheartedly. The thong really ought to go. And I was going to also make the point about shirts with TiCalc.org on them. I would be much more inclined to purchase a Ticalc.org shirt than a Magnus shirt.

I have an ethics question for you guys (Staff). If you do not allow programs etc. that some people consider offensive, why do you allow things being sold that to some is obviously offensive? If it is at the users option to buy the thong,then it should be the users option to download those programs etc.

I've taken no sides in writting this post.

well i guess that it is good that many of the viewers of this site do not look at porn since as determined previously, most people here are 16? and that would be ILLEGAL. I dont think that anyone would say that there is nothing wrong with that.
