Edit3D v0.96 Released
Posted by Michael on 18 March 2003, 04:18 GMT

David Coz has updated an excellent and long-overlooked program, Edit3D. Available for the 89, 92+, and Voyage 200, it is a full-featured graphics editing package. People with artistic skills (news editor excluded) can draw intricate 3-D designs in both wire-frame and solid modes. There is also texture support and the ever-impressive real time rotation.

Update (Joey): /asm/graphics/edit3d folders have been added for the 89, 92+, and V200. However, they will be kept out of ranking.

They are similar in the sense that you have for loops, if statements, pointers, arrarys, floats, ect.

However 95% of programming is knowledge of what you can and can't do and how to go about doing it. In this sense it is nothing like the pc.

of a delorean but can't finish it because of that diagonal line-diagonal slope inability thing!

Edit3D really sucks. I have a HW2 calc and it crashes every time I run it.

Random can be annoying, especially when it happens too often!

- I have a whole list of ships designs that cause Error-Crashes - look on pg. 3 of these posts.

I have a C++ compiler and for some reason it decompiled VTI and I can't run it - just edit the it as a source and I can't make it b/c I don't have all of the libraries!

For some reason ever time I have tried to submit something to the pending queue, it mysteriously disappears without being uploaded. What's up with that?

Could it be that you are submitting something that is against our archive policies, and thus is rejected?

no, it was the server protocol for CALCnet and an early SDK for Doors CS.

Sweet a Delorean would be cool. It looks like it's just me and you that are making ships for dementia, and I stop making ships because I ran out of ideas. I like all of your smaller ships, but the big ones are too slow to play with. What would you think if I made a flying cat that shot lasers out of it's eyes.

I love Edit 3d!! It let's you show off your creative side. BTW I got my 89 at a used electronic/book store for only $50(I'm not lying)!!! I highly recomend the upgrade for all those z80 users.

only if the cat was accuatly to scale, go for it I'v gotten so bored w/ the err messages that I 've been tempted to just try making a Tree that shoot s from its branches b/c i know its going to give me an illegal Address/Instruction error *When I Try TO Save It* .

my E-mail is mrkazooti@aol.com I don't check it very often but if I have a reason to I will:)
The bugs in Edit 3d can be very anoying, just make sure you you have the Almighty Kerno installed and put Edit3d on auto archive. Keep making ships because I'm usually too lazy to design anything:)

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Edit3D v0.96 Released

sorry I only auto-archive with DOORS, most of the games (and programs) I have require DOORSOS-although KerNO does have much more anti-crash protection than doors, but does it have anti-freeze protection?!!!

HHmmmmmmmmmmhhhhhhhh!?!!

Good work on the U2. It's cool.
You use Doors? I hate programs that use kernels, they anger me :). BTW Does ne1 think it would be possible to port smq so that it doesn't need a kernel? That would be sweet.

Thx, I think I'll try [just] a-bunch of bomber designs now(old and present), but they won't be popping out like before due to all of these "(increasingly more frequent) errors!".
