UniversalOS v1.30 Released
Posted by Eric on 3 May 2001, 03:13 GMT

Julien Muchembled has released his new version of UniversalOS for the TI-89 and TI-92+. In case you missed it, UniversalOS is one of those fast-rising shells for the 68K calculators, so be sure to check it out if you're into that sorta thing. What's new, you ask? Mostly bugfixes, but a few new minor features as well.

it seems like it would be pretty simple to modify the message board program to delete all messages that say "evil dead"

Maybe, but this would also delete all postings that said that someone was MAKING Evil Dead.

Yeah, but how relevant could "evil dead" be to a news item? The program could probably be configured to dislay those messages for message boards that have to do with games, but not for these news postings.

Sorry to say this, but in the past 4 months less than ten people have made postings on the "Upcoming TI-89 Games" Message Board, I being one of them. So if you want to post there and have no one know about it that is fine with me.:)

I agree.
This has reminded me, has any progress taken place on Zelda 89. The ip in the readme file I have been unable to reach. Has it been given up again?

I'm not sure what your problem is; I have AMS 2.05 and HW1 myself, and it works fine. Maybe you should try backing your calculator up and resetting it.

You may have used an old version of HW2Patch. Your calclator is certainly a HW2 on (see the about panel). HW2Patch 2.30 should work.
