Ion v1.2
Posted by Nick on 20 December 1999, 03:30 GMT

Joe Wingbermuehle has release version 1.2 of his wonderful shell, Ion, for the 83 and 83 Plus. Some bugfixes are included, and according to Joe, this version should be as stable as can be. Ion v1.2 will not work with prior versions, so you should reset your calculator before installing this.

Does version 1.2 work with the TI-83 1.10 RAM?

I had trouble with 1.1

Im glad they finally did another update. I don't even own a ti-83(+).But I seem to be the only person in my school with a graphlink...I like it that way! I can charge "DATA ACCESS" and "DATA TRANSMISSION" and "HARDWARE USAGE" fees and people pay them for games. It makes me wonder if Ti is selling gameboys or math tools? Most kids, the only calculations only they calculate are tetris scores. But hey, its bussiness, right?

Same here. At first I was giving people games for free, and then I thought, "Why not make some money?"
