Devrays Released
Posted by Ryan on 13 June 2011, 23:05 GMT

Yesterday evening, user Aichi released Devrays, a delightful SHMUP for the TI-83+ SE, 84+, and 84+ SE calculators (note that you must own a 15 MHz calc). This stunning shooter boasts multiple weapons, bosses, multiple levels and zones, and even achievements! Still not convinced? Check out some gameplay footage over here and prepare to get your thumbs limber.

I agree. The game is awesome and I am happy to see some life again in ticalc. It's not that there were no release, but rather that no news were posted about it due to lack of time. I am glad ticalc isn't going the same way as Dimension-TI/Calc.org did a few years ago.

Thanks for putting in all of the work on making a great game; I've been playing the heck out of it since you released it. I just tried my hand at level 8 with no powerups a little while ago and... ouch.
