Pearls for the 83+
Posted by Michael on 13 August 2006, 01:07 GMT

[Pearls]Joel Seligstein has released an entertaining and frustrating little game for the 83+ called Pearls. The objective is to draw a continuous non-intersecting line that passes through every pearl. There are rules about where it must turn after passing through white and black pearls, adding to the challenge. There is also an 83 version available.

Even better here: Time to buy batteries, search for the link cable, and install link software :)

I've got you beat: time to search for the calculator, see if it still works, and see if it has free memory

Same here. ;)

Although I'm sure it still works; I just don't know exactly where I put mine....I'm /very/ protective of all of my calcs though.

I'm sure they work electrically -- not sure about the batteries. I know mine are in a box in the basement waiting to find out if I (hopefully) need a new 89 for college.

who knows, it seemed like a good competition though...

I have to say, I didn't loose mine, they just got misplaced because I have just moved to start college.

I would hope the presence of "ion.inc" in the .zip file would make that obvious.

Well, I suppose if you're like me and don't have a clue about ASM programming, that wouldn't tell you anything

Well maybe you should learn more about ASM programming, that's what ticalc.org really needs. More Awsome Programs!

REF to other post in the poll:
I don't see a use for learning ASM and I don't have the time to waste on something I won't use.

I did all my programming in study hall and I wouldn't be able to program ASM directly into the calc so...

Yea there's a program called TASM On Calc that lets you program in ASM on your calculator in the basic menu.. compile it and run it, and there ya go.. it's actually pretty useful, and I'm wondering why it hasn't been featured..

and this is proof I don't know much about ASM. I was still going on the fact that ASM games can't be typed into the calc...so I was wrong...so what?

My point is people that use MirageOS should know that it can run ION programs, and if there is a file related to ION in the .zip it should become apparant that the progam was written for ION and therefore MirageOS supports it.

Also that the file is in the ION subdirectory...

"Also that the file is in the ION subdirectory... "

I agree completely...

"if there is a file related to ION in the .zip "

As I said, I don't know much about ASM except it can't be typed into the calc so...
