Compression is great - I'm always running out of memory. Now if it just had the features of MirageOS, I would keep it on my calc permanently! ;-)

I hate when that happens... My friends always bug me because they have regular 83+'s and I have an SE, so I can have way more games on it, and they can't =). They seem to think that I can magically make the RAM (...in that case ROM too) double in size. They can only have around 20 games at a time while still keeping necessary programs for school. I have 57 games on my calculator right now, so they all despise me >:)...

So when you turn your calculator on, it has the Nintendo logo scroll down the screen to the middle, then makes the 'ba-ding' sound?

Obviously that's what TI's startup app is for.

You could always make the sound come through the linkport with headphones. There are a few routines to do this.. take CalcMod for instance. Email the creator and ask for his routine; it shouldn't be that hard.

As for the scrolling... If ya can't do that... don't even try the sound...

Yeah, I've got an 84+SE and all my friends mostly have an 83+ so they are always griping about "your calculator holds too many games" and in reality they are wishing theirs would hold that much ;)

I got all of them from just going down the TI-83+ Assembly Games (MirageOS and Ion) pages and looked at all the program info pages to see if I thought they would be worth it... I have at this time:

Racer 0.99, Centepide v1.0, Checkers 8x v1.2, Chicken Shoot v1.1, Connect 4, Dance Revolution, Desolate, Death From Above, DodgeBall 2.0, Death Rally, DuckHunt 83, Fallup, Falldown, Football, MathCenter v1.0(Mine... Man, you do not have that sub game?! That game is awesome. I cannot remember its name, but you are a boat and you have to kill subs below you. They have their point values marked. Also, it is really easy because until level seven you can sit and huld [2nd] and [MODE] and hit everyone. The reason this does not work past level seven is because you have to start dodging seeking attacks from the subs. Anyway, great game, and you should get it.

I just downloaded it... Its called SubHunt. I must have gotten an updated version because right when you start the game (not after the first seven levels), they start firing back.

It's a pretty neat game.. Let's just say that I now have 55 games...
(Had 54 before because I deleted Koopa Attack, Chicken Shoot and TrueGray Zelda)

Although at a certain level, they start firing at an angle.
