TI-92 Plus in New Case
Posted by Kirk on 23 April 1999, 00:46 GMT

Texas Instruments has announced that they will now sell the TI-92 Plus in its own case. Previously, it was necessary to buy a TI-92, and then buy the Plus chip if you wanted the extra functionality. Now, you can buy the whole thing in one package. For those users who currently own a TI-92, the Plus upgrade will still be available in chip form. The current software will continue to work even though the case is different.

I am very pleased to know that Ti included everything in one calculator!

I am having some difficulties with my Ti92 Plus calculator that costs $300.00. I can not get it to turn on because there is no batter power to it. I tired putting the a square one in, but I could not get the door to close. I tried putting in a small, round, and flat one in, but that did not work. I also tried putting in a car battery, but it would not fit. Maybe I should plud it into the wall?

The easiest way is to chop off your fingers and use them as batteries.

Send it to me. I promise I'll make it work.

TI-92 needs new battery compartment!
Solver

I had trouble with that too.

The solution: climb a telephone pole, insert the graphlink into the calculator, and touch the other end to the transformer on the pole. I PROMISE this will, at the very least, jump start your calculator. (Amid other things...) :)

I had the same problem. You have to take the batterys out of your butt first.

The previous message alludes to the guy seeing cylindrical objects and immdietly shoving them up his butt.

I think the only reason their doing this is to reduce costs. It's got to be cheaper to make 2 case styles and motherboards(The Ti-92 and the Ti-89 cases) Then to make the 4 case styles and motherboards (The Ti-92, Ti-89, Ti-85 and the Ti-86 cases) that their currently making.
