CCIA has released six screenshots of their upcoming game, Zelda 89. One of those screenshots is displayed to the right. A public beta version should be available by Christmas. For more information on Zelda 89, check out the CCIA website or visit channel #ccia on EFNet.

zelda should be released today (the 30th) and tomorrow at the latest, guaranteed... carbin didnt quit, hes on vacation, and milleman has done most of the programming, hes also tought ccia ALOT, we are thankful to have him on our team... without him it would not be very far at all... Go to CCIA's new page (below my name) its alot better, laid out nice, etc... ~doomsday

Are you going to make a Zelda: Link's Awakening for the 86 just like you did with the 89?

SHUT THE HELL UP EVERYBODY!

Everybody needs to just shut the hell up and take a look at those screenshots. I have played the version for the 86 and the 83, and frankly, the sprites are to big, it is hard to open a chest without going onto another screen. Those screenshots for the 89 are beautiful!!! How can anyone say anything against this. I own a ti-86, and 83, but not a ti-89. I don't sit here wining "port it to the 86." I just feel happy that these quality games are being made for all calcs. Great job guys, keep up the good work. And for all you people crying about a port, get a job and buy an 89 for gods sake.
