Attention span: 1/10 I haven't played it twice.
Controls: 5/10 Shooting is a test in luck.
Implementation: 8/10 This is for the graphics, which are okay. The game is huge.
Overall: 5/10 (No Comment)

Alas, will they ever learn that you can't create a sports game like this on a calculator? Three Point Shootout is a game where you must beat all three of the opponents, Barney, Mario, and Rohlin, in order to win. As is to be expected, the shooting process is nothing like shooting in real basketball. A rim appears somewhere on the screen and a horizontal line starts going across the screen. You try to stop it when it is in the middle of the rim. Then a vertical line comes down, and you repeat the procedure. Then a screen shows whether you hit or missed.

This game is extremely huge for its content. This is most likely because the game is mostly a collection of graphics. The process of shooting is more a test of luck than anything else. (For those of you out there with misconceptions, shooting a real basketball isn't a matter of luck.) Even if you do get the lines stopped right, the ball sometimes jumps the hoop anyway. The ball always follows the same path... no variation.

Despite the fact that this game has retarded characters in it, I downloaded it. I was surprised to find out it was pretty good. It tests your timing and coordination skills. Pretty simple and not a whole lot going on graphically, but it's sure worth your time.

8.5/10
