Title Fruit Ninja (2012)
Description Featuring a revolutionary control scheme, Fruit Ninja is a clone of that famous iPhone game by Halfbrick Studios, complete with bombs, combos, and beautiful 3D graphics. Swipe, flick, and zig-zag across your calculator's keypad to destroy the fruit. It's like your calculator suddenly grew a touchscreen. Winner of TI-Concours 2012. Compiled with Axe Parser v1.1.2. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhDquSJ2Rr8 for a video of this game in action.

Gameplay: 4/5

It's hard to go wrong when you make a copy of a game that already existed. 4/5 for classic Fruit Ninja.

Controls: 3/5

This is why I got this game. How could fruit ninja be playable on a calculator? That's what made this game so intriguing. The controls are revolutionary, but that doesn't mean good. It's alright, it's creative, and I don't know how else it could be done, but don't expect them to be amazing. The controls definitely take some getting used to and make scoring over 50 extremely hard.

Graphics: 5/5

Almost just like the iPod touch. I'm amazed at how they did that. This designer is very talented.

Interface: 5/5

The interface gets you thinking. I like how there isn't a start button and you have to slice the fruit to start, just like on the iTouch. Perfect! File size is good too.

Lasting appeal: 3/5

This game is hype. It was on top, but I don't see it staying in front of Phoenix for long. It will always have that intriguing appeal to newbies, but half of them will probably hate it after they try it. I won't be deleting this game, I'll probably play it now and again.

Average: 4.0/5

Overall: 4/5

It's not that great of a game, but it's the creativity that will make this game remembered down to road. Don't miss this game, but don't expect it to be as good as it presents itself.
