Description
|
This program demonstrates the limit operation of the secant line to the tangent line. The user may need to adjust the window on the program before running it so that tangent lines come in clearly. The user inputs the function, the starting point, A and the initial step size, H. The program generates four secant lines and stores the slopes in L1. This program is meant to demonstrate the beginnings of the limit process to enhance understanding of the definition of derivative. Enjoy!
