This “Connect Four” program gave me a surprise for being a clone: It was actually somewhat good. The graphics are better than most “Connect Four” games, although the intro and ending get annoying after a while. The game runs smoothly, although the lack of AI is a flaw. A look at the source shows that the author knows some optimizations, but there is still room for improvement.

Graphics: 8/10 – This has all you could want from a “Connect four” game, but the intro and ending get really annoying after a while

Speed: 7/10 – The speed is not bad; a small pause after each turn isn't horrible. Having to press [ENTER] is, though.

Size: 6/10 - At almost 2500 bytes, this isn't a small program, but isn’t too large either. A few optimizations of the code could help

Gameplay: 8/10 - Great for two players, but having AI would be nice.
