"The Trig Machine" is based on a very good idea: make a program to do that pesky triangle math so that normal students never need to touch the law of cosines again. However, it is crash-prone, causing messy ram-clearings when I ran it sometimes. Plus, the size is rather large, as I have seen triangle programs 1.7 k or less in basic that work perfectly fine. Overall, I would agree with the last reviewer in saying that this is a great idea that could use some more development.

This program is a great idea, and offers great functionality, but with a few caveats:

  • When the program is given certain sets of data, often in a side-side-angle form, it crashes.
  • The program does not support finding the two possible side lengths when you have side-side-angle inputs

I think that this is a worthwhile download, but there is definitely room for improvement.

This program will be quite useful to you if you are in Geometry or Trig. It will even make the triangle question that you get on the SAT super easy. All you have to do is input three pieces of information that you know, and it does the rest.

The interface is nice, and the file size isn't bad at all. Overall, this is a worthwhile download.
