Well, this game I think would be great. However, it doesn't work on my TI-84+ calculator. The splash screen at the beginning gets sort of screwed up and during gameplay, your character doesn't move at all. If this gets fixed, I'm sure this will be a great game for the TI-84+.

This game is definitely worth downloading. It's just like the original arcade “Donkey Kong” with all the original levels and a high score feature. The gameplay is smooth and everything works exactly it's supposed to, and the pacing is well done. However, it's kind of hard to see the barrels and stuff, but considering how much has to fit on the small 83+ screen, the graphics are actually pretty good and could only be improved with scrolling to fit bigger objects. The grayscale splash screen is also a nice touch. My only possible complaint is that the source code is not included, but most of you probably won't care :)

Gameplay - 10/10
Graphics - 7.5/10
Speed - 10/10
Overall - 9.5/10

“Donkey Kong 5.0” for the TI-83+ is an incredibly well made and enjoyable game. The controls are very responsive and the little guy on-screen runs and performs actions at a very speedy rate. Most calc games are sluggish and unresponsive, but this one raises the bar for great controls. The graphics leave a little to be desired, mainly because of the basic animations (1. The hit detection is very unforgiving, and you can die from accidentally jumping into a barrel that is on the platform above you.
2. You sometimes find yourself just dropping dead for no apparent reason.
3. The hammer only works if you're moving!

Other then those few things, Donkey Kong is a great way to waste time during math class.
Score=7/10
