The game is fun with a simple and intuitive game play. The graphics look great with details like a shadow of your plane and the tilting of the plane. You meet many different enemies with increased difficulty through the game. Your high score and progress is automaticly saved. However, the save feature doesn't seem to work properly if the game is archived.

The english version of the readme lacks a lot of information. The french one is more informative.

“Aerial Assault” brings the nicest graphics around for a shooting game. The game play is very smooth, with nice animations and effects. Every graphic of this game looks good - every ship, every bullet, and every background element.

As you keep on surviving, you will get mixed into more and more difficult situations, facing bigger and harder to kill enemies (not to mention those bratty intelligent rockets).

I didn't encounter any bugs with this game, except for some minor graphical bugs where a water ship gets covered up by water background (that's a very rare and harmless bug anyway).

Overall this beautiful game gets a 10/10. Yet another masterpiece by Orange Studio!

Note! This review was written for a previous version of this file!

Aerial Assault is a side-scrolling game where you control a jet and shoot down the onslaught of enemy jets and such that come your way. Overall, the gameplay is sound, the graphics are good, and the game feels very professional.

However, this is not a perfect game. I have experienced a number of admittedly minor bugs, but bugs nonetheless. In particular I have noticed a recurring phenomenon where an enemy ship suddenly appears right in front of you and kills you. Also, the game is only one short level, and is exactly the same every time you play it. This is not all that bad, as you can play the game at different speeds and challenge yourself to get a really high-score, and the game itself tends to be very difficult, so you will be compelled to try again and again to beat the game.

Overall, this game has great graphics, and a lot of animations that add to the visual effect, such as an ocean below you with mountains in the background and boats on the seas. This is a fun game, and worth the download for anyone who plays games on the 89. It may not be the best game, but it is fun, and one of the better simple games available for the 89. Definitely worth trying.
