Gameplay- very simple to pick up and play. Very user friendly. But trying to get to a certain goal without tricks isn't much fun to play. This game is like the reverse of big city sk8er. That game has many tricks but no point goal. You need tricks for a skateboard game! 8/10

Memory- Decent filesize. 10/10

Creativity- Nothing new here. Obstacle course is very creative though. 7/10

File- Contains helpful readme and great screenshots. 10/10

Graphics- Runs really smooth. 10/10

Controls- very user friendly. 10/10

Overall- a simple skateboard game that does really well. 9/10

Suggestions

  • Like I said before, skating tricks would be nice.
  • Maybe some backgrounds

Well that's my review. I got to go beat that best score!

Skate is a fun almost addicting game, but has little replay value. After I started playing and scoring in the 90s or 100s, I easily got used to each screen and am now able to beat it perfectly (75 secs). Fun game just to have around, but if you're looking for something to constantly challenge you this isn't it.

Gameplay: 9/10

Replay Value: 5/10

Only to try and get 75 seconds.

Graphics: 7/10

Doesn't really need them to be good, though.

Overall: 7.5/10

What this could use-

Level Packs, Level Editor, Upgraded Graphics, Trick and Point system, and variable speeds.

“Skate” is a very addictive game for the TI-83 Plus. You're a little dude trying to get to the end of a track without getting hit.

Controls-- 9/10 Easy, [ALPHA] to power up your jump, [2nd] to jump, and [2nd] in the air at the right time to double jump. But the controls are sticky sometimes.

Graphics-- 10/10 Good for 8x8 sprites.
Gameplay-- 10/10 Simple and fun.
Bugfreeness-- 10/10 No Bugs.

Overall-- Download for a fun time!

This game may be pointless, and it may be the same every time you play it. Normally, I would scorn this game. However, I can't get past the game without fatally crashing more than twice. Tip: Pressing [ALPHA] will let you crouch, press [2ND] a little later and release [ALPHA]. You will jump high. My best time for completing this is about 82 seconds, not the best. The graphics are pretty good, and this game gets addicting. However, it won't last too long if you play it too much!

On a scale of 1-10, this gets a 7.5
