I thought this game was awesome. The unique graphics engine really adds to the gameplay. It is sort of slow, but it didn't seem to bother me a whole lot. The game plot also unfolds as you go along, giving you a reason to play.

You really have no reason to get stuck and start over. There are places to get healed on every level. I got frustrated until I found a hidden passage......

This game is the best game for the TI-86 that I have played. It's finished too.

I give it a superb:

10/10

This game has many pros and few cons. The pros first: It is COMPLETE. This already puts it in the top 10 adventure games. The engine is amazing. You can tell a whole slew of effort went into the graphics and layout. There are little "special" quirks everywhere, too. These include the sleek menu system, speed adjustment, and a flaming (!) menu.

There are a few drawbacks, though. The game is slow, and unfortunately there is no really good way to speed this up (it takes TIME to mask and copy grayscale buffers, ya know?). It's pretty tough, as well. These two (and really only drawbacks) combined make for some serious downplay :( I never wanted to start over again once I was stuck (which happened a few times) or died due to the difficulty, and then go ALL THE WAY THROUGH it all (traversing 3 rooms in 10 minutes.)

Well, maybe it wasn't my cup of tea. I would definitely give this game a real shot, though. You may very well fall absolutely in love with it!
