As far as normal standards go, I'd say ION is an amazing shell. It is fast and it's written very well. However, I'd like to put in a small point. People say ION takes only 40 bytes to run. However, ION takes about 2k because it actually uses a hidden program. Although this is still relatively small, the author decided to say in the readme that it only took up 40 bytes (grumble). Putting these (blatant) untruths `aside, I would give this shell a 9/10 for its speed and convenience. |
