Math OS is a math program that has (basically) everything you need. Some of the features are the quadratic solver, the radian/degree converter, and area and volume (includes 10 different geometric shapes). This is a must-have for any math student in any math level-it has over 30 features if you count everything.
Don't you hate it when you type sin(angle)=something and you only get 1 value for the angle. This program will give you 4 values in positive degrees for the angle and those values in radians. After you solve a trigonometric equation, you can use this program to find several values of the angle using tan( and cos( as well as sin(. After solving for the values, you can use the extraneous solution finder to see if any of the values are extraneous solutions.

|amazingtrigvalues.zip||1k||12-04-27||Amazing Trig Values|
Have you ever gone to math class, typed in sin(some number), and all it shows is a decimal rounded to nine places? This program displays the sin,cosine,and tangent of a value as they really are. (for example instead of 1.7320508, it just says the square root of 3) Useful for Geometry, Trig, and Precalculus students. New in this version: can recognize common inverse sin/cos/tan values, and convert them to multiples of pi. (It's bigger, so the old version is also included.)
Input the Amp, Period, and Phase Shift and it will output the equation.
The program uses the Ans-memory to check on 20 values, common in trig. class, showing you the exact ones.
|anggraph.zip||1k||04-06-09||Angle Grapher v.1.1|
Fixed some bugs. It graphs radians and degrees. Basically whatever angle you want to draw, it graphs for you. Simple enough.
This quick program allows the input of any angle measure (degrees or radians) and returns a graph of the angle's location with its sine, cosine, and reference angle.
This program will find an angle given something like tan(x)=1.4324 0
Very small and easy to use program for computing angles and sides of triangles using given information.

|atriangle.zip||1k||04-02-17||Dan's Triangle Solver|
This is a simple but effective program that find the missing angles and sides of a triangle
ATRIG is a program to find those exact values, from the ANS-memory, in trigonometric functions. Like one over squareroot of two, squareroot of three and the others. It also gives you all the multiples of pi, for a denominator of onto 10,000, in a second! The result is shown with the Text(-command, wich means that the built in >Frac can't be used. At 215 bytes it's unique!
This program finds the exact values in trigonometric functions, like square root 2 over 2, square root 3 over 3, and so on. The program does not change your mode. If you enter a value like 60 or pi/3, the program, regardless of what mode you are in, gives you the exact values for sine, cosine, and tangent, assuming that 60 is degrees and pi/3 is radians. If you enter sin(45 in mode degree, or sin(pi/4 in mode radian, the program will give you the values for the inverse sin/cos/tan in terms of degrees or radians/pi, depending of what mode you have. You can of course also enter values like sqrt(3)/2 or inverse sin(sqrt(3)/2. If you want to examine a value that is in the Ans-memory, just press X when you are asked: "VALUE?". UPDATE: The program now shows the input on the result screen, if that differs from the value on top.
This is the last in the series of ATRIG programs. This is basically the same as previous versions, except it is much more advanced. It gives you the choice of which trig function you would like to see the values for. Thank you for contributing to the great success of this series.
|atrig4.zip||1k||10-04-20||Exact Trig Values-A Table|
This program contains a table on the 13 exact trigonometric values, with the corresponding angles for sine, cosine, and tangent, in degrees and radians, plus the angles for tangent where it's undefined. You can toggle up and down in it by pressing the arrow keys: arrow up for up, arrow down ( or any other key than up or ON ) for down. Look at the screenshots.
|atrig5.zip||1k||10-04-29||Trig Values Reverse|
This program is the reverse of the usual program of this kind. Instead of giving it angles and get the exact values, you give it the exact values and get the angles. The 13 exact values: 0, + -1, + -1/2, + -sqrt(2)/2, + -sqrt(3)/2, + -sqrt(3)/3, and + -sqrt(3), are displayed on the screen for your choice. When you make a choice it gives you the angles for sine, cosine, and tangent, but not just one angle each: For example -sqrt(3)/2, gives you the angles -60 and 240 for sine, and 150 and -150 for cosine, in mode degree. In mode radian that value gives you -pi/3 and 4pi/3 for sine, and 5pi/6 and -5pi/6 for cosine. For tangent the period of N*pi, or N*180 is given when the angle gets an exact value. The program works without changing any mode you have set, but to use it fully you need to alternate between mode degree and mode radian.
ATRIG8: This program solves trigonometric equations like sin(2X)=cos(3X), tan(X)=√3, and all the other combinations you can think of. Just remember to use X for the variable. It has a built in safety check, so it skips values that are not defined, instead of giving you an ERR: DOMAIN. You do not have to give it angles to search within, or number of solutions you want. It simply searches 0 to 360 degrees with a precision that you choose. If you choose 5, for example, the program will check every fifth degree from 0 to 360. Look at the screenshots. ATRIG9: This program is the same as the one above, except that it searches angles that are E-3 off from an integer, so that it won't give you an ERR: DOMAIN. When the equation is close to a match, it puts the value of X, rounded to two, into list 1, wich is displayed when finished. ATRIG0: This program searches for the precision by itself. You just have to give it the equation with X as variable. There is only integer values for the angles though. Might be the the right program for you if you are uncertain about the precision. ATRIG10: A coventional program, described in the textfile. ATRIG11: This is the same as ATRIG0, exept that it can also handle a precision of half a degree. For example: sin(X)=cos(25.5).
This program solves trigonometric equations of the type: tan(3X)=0.8, sin(2X)=0.5, or cos(4X)=1/sqrt(2). It's a complement to the programs in atrig6.zip, since those programs have trouble solving, or can't solve an equation of this type.
Solves any triangle given a side and two other pieces of information, and even solves ambiguous SSA triangles. It also shows the area and perimeter and allows you to visualize the information graphically. This is the BEST TRIGONOMETRY PROGRAM ever seen on a TI-83.
|atrighelper.zip||1k||05-11-02||Trig Functions Helper|
This programs works by using the basic trig function y=a*trig(bx-c)+k, where "trig" can be sin, cos, tan, csc, sec or cot. After entering the requested values, it solves for: amplitude, period, scale, reflection, vertical stretch/shrink, horizontal stretch/shrink, phase shift and vertical shift. It's a very nice program, so at least check out the screenshots (please).
|atrigonometry.zip||1k||05-03-10||Sine, Cosine, and Tangent solver v.1.0|
In this program, you select what you want to find and select what you know, enter the information, and you will get the answer and how it was found. This sets the mode to Degrees.
Gives you the radical values for common sine, cosine, and tangent functions. You must download these other programs to make this one work - sine, cosine, and tangent.
This program gives you the sides and angles of a triangle, when you input its coordinates. You begin with the coordinates of A in the triangle ABC, then B and C. If the coordinates you input doesn't make a triangle, the program tells you so. It also works without changing you mode. The angles are given both in degrees and radians.

Will do pi, square root of 2, square root of 3, and square root in general. It is named "A" so that when you get a decimal you want to convert, just press: PRGM ENTER ENTER and you got it! Check out these examples of pi/4, square root of 3 over 2, and square root of 2 over 5. Works for non-unit-circle values also.
This program will calculate the six trig functions symbolically (not as a typical decimal) from one set of points.
This program solves trig equations for rational answers withing given bounds. sin(x)=cos(x) returns 45 and 225
This porgram analyzes the curve of the trig functions given in the form D+A*sin/cos/sec/csc/tan/cot(C+Bx). It then provides you with the amplitude, period, phase shift, and vertical shift on cos and sin, and period, phase shift, and vertical shift on the others.

Update 2/12/2004: -The program can now solve unknown angles. ----------End Update---------- Update 2/11/2004: -HUGE revisions done to the program.. it now takes up way less space (due to previous superfluous code), and it fixes a few bugs from the older version. ----------End Update---------- Update 2/10/2004: -Created blocks for more than one unknown (which previously crashed the program). Also created a block for unknown angles. -Instead of displaying all of the angles and sides upon completion, program now only displays the unknown side that you requested to save time and space. ----------End Update---------- Input the values for two angles and two corresponding sides of any triangle. For unknown values, input a 'zero.' The program will then use the Law of Sines to find the values for the unknowns you entered. Use ZLWSETUP to alter previously saved amounts for decimal places to round to. The list, "LSIN," is required to run this program. |progs.zip||2k||04-05-09||Laws of Sines & Cosines, Vectors, Heron's Formula|
These 4 programs work together, and won't be fully effective unless they are together. These programs will help solve unknown sides/angles using the Law of Sines and Law of Cosines. It even has a pretty handy SSA Ambiguous Clause function, where you simply enter the 3 given sides, and it tells you all of the solutions of both triangles (if there are two solutions). The Heron program simply uses Heron's Formula to find the area of a given triangle. The Vector program performs several functions, including Dot Product, finding the angle between vectors, and more.

|righttrianglesolver2.zip||20k||09-11-14||Right Triangle Solver|
This program calculates answers for right triangles, given two pieces of information. It uses the getKey function to store user input into a string, one number at a time, and displays it on the graph screen as the user enters it, one number at a timeuntil the enter key is pressed. However, I dont check for all user errors, such as entering a degree larger than 90. This program displays a menu at the bottom of the screen, with a prompt directly above the menu options. There are as many as five menu options to choose from at any one time. These menu options correspond to the first row of keys at the top of the calculator: Y=, WINDOW, ZOOM, TRACE, GRAPH. These keys are used to select the menu option desired by the user. Above the prompt, a right triangle is drawn, with angle labels, and then side labels. When selected, the angle or length can be entered adjacent to where the angle or side is located. This allows the user to see that he is indeed putting the known information in the correct location. The left arrow key can also be used to backspace. For the record, this program requires a companion program, ZINPUTST, which is explained in comments below, and in another Word document in the ZIP file. This version times out after 1 minute to save your batteries.
|righttrianglesolver.zip||1k||07-08-21||Right Triangle Solver|
This program shows you a picture of a right triangle with sides and angles labled. Then it asks you which variables you were given, and then solvers for the unkown. Program AND picture are required in order for this program to work correctly.
The RIGHTTRI program is a program you can use to find the length the hypotenuse, or the length of the missing leg of a right triangle. When you run the program, all you have to do is select whether you need the length of the hypotenuse, or the length of the missing leg. If you choose the leg, you will have to give the length of the other leg and the hypotenuse. If you choose the hypotenuse, you will have to give the lengths of the two legs.
This program will give you C if you input A and B

first made to learn programming shown to me by a friend who started me on this quest it is the simple formula A^2+B^2=C^2 and does the same things that you would expect without going into trig functions and so it would not be uploaded into ticalc.org unless i felt it was special. it asks for A, B, and C and if you wish to find out wha any is enter 0 as it's value and it will give you the answer, if you wish to see if the triangle u are using is a right triangle enter all numbers and it will tell you 1 or 0. it has litle error except when multiple zeros are entered but it returns a weirdish value and nothing that pops an error and what is the very most specail feature is its size (89 as displyed on calc!) i included the programs i made to create the opening screen on the final release... read more in the about file on this download

|triangulator.zip||413k||03-11-03||The Triangulator 7.0|
This is, quite simply, THE BEST triangle solver. It solves ALL triangle forms with only 3 pieces, INCLUDING THE AMBIGUOUS CASE!! It also has EasyEntry, so you don't have to think about which type of symmetry it is and which side is which. This program also reports the area, perimeter, and sides as decimals, fractions, and square roots; it shows the angles in decimal and DMS! BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! It also DRAWS the triangle, and that drawing can be ROTATED and FLIPPED! It also features DoubleCheck, to ensure that all answers given are correct to 8 digits. It even resets your calculator to whichever Angle mode your calculator is set to when it is run (DEGREE or RADIAN), and returns variables to their previous values! Try the Triangulator and I guarantee you will never use another triangle solver again!

I named the prog AATRIG so it shows up near the beginning of the programs list for easier access. This prog solves for a lot of things having to do with trig functions. It will convert from radians to degress, degrees to radians, an angle with decimals to degree-minutes-seconds (DMS), from DMS to an angle with decimals. In the RIGHT TRIANGLES section, it will solve for any variable for the Pythagorean Theorem, sin, cos, and tan. That's pretty much the extent of it.
This program will help you find the side of a right triangle if you have one side and an angle. It shows all the work needed so you can copy this down and tests and homework. Have Fun!!!!
TrigBible is a BASIC program based on a concept created by the teachers in the math department at Mt. Vernon High School in Fortville, Indiana. The whole concept is basicaly about a chart with many measurements of angles for triangles. The listed angles have the following information: radians, sin, cos, tan, csc, sec, cot. There are also some useful formulas and quadrant information. From what the teachers at my school have said, many students will heavily rely on these cards in Calculus and through your college courses. I have also included an excel file in which the table is printed in case you would like i print out the table onto a 5x8 notecard. Believe me, this program may not appear to be useful, but just keep it around because it sure will come in handy for the future.
Takes an equation in a form like Asin(x^2)+Bsin(x)+C=0, also for tan and cos, and gives you the general solutions.
|trigf83p.zip||1k||02-06-16||Trigonometry Formulas v1.1|

|trigfind.zip||3k||03-05-29||Trig Finder v2.0|
This is an update to the popular Trig Finder v1.0. While that version was very helpful, it would tend to crash with a domain error if the angle was a multiple of 90 degrees. This updated version has an updated interface, is bug-free, and includes the calculator file. Simply run the program, enter the angle in degrees, and the program will give you all six trig functions for the angle. Check it out!

Enter in a comples number and the Trigonometric From of it will appear like magic on the screen.
This program writes the function given only the phase shift, amplitude, period, and location.
TrigMode is a very small utility that tells the current trigonometric mode of the calculator. It is one of my first uploaded programs and since the original release (version 1.0 in February 2001) I've optimized the filesize a few bytes, so the program is now about 50% smaller.
|trigfunc83p.zip||3k||02-02-26||Trigonometry Functions v1.14|
Contains information and formulas related to trigonometric functions.
This program will calculate any trig function, allow you to change you angle mode from the program, and it has a "Free Math" function that lets you make calculations without leaving the program. Please consult the included Readme file.
I created this program for my own use the other day. I was working on my math and thought it would be useful. Then i started using it more and thought that there were probably alot of people out that would find this program useful. This program is used for finding different trig functions. Such as SIN, COS, TAN, CSC, SEC, COT and so on. This program is VERY easy to use and i'm sure if you use it you will learn to love it. It is a very simple program.
|trig_function_value_finder.zip||1k||03-12-08||Values of "[Trig function] of x"|
input x and it will show you value for sine (standard, inverse, hyperbolic, and hyperbolic inverse), cosine (standard, inverse, hyperbolic, and hyperbolic inverse), tangent (standard, inverse, hyperbolic, and hyperbolic inverse), secant (standard, inverse, hyperbolic, and hyperbolic inverse), cosecant (standard, inverse, hyperbolic, and hyperbolic inverse), cotangent (standard, inverse, hyperbolic, and hyperbolic inverse).
Trigfunc is used to help you graph trigonometric equations and then solve various things like working out all the x-values given a y-value. It automatically saves your last graph and allows you to change the quality of the graph and work out other things about it like amplitude, period, maximum and minimum possible values etc. A great program for trigonmetry!
Calculate the secant, cosecant, and cotangent of numbers.
In trig, we were supposed to memorize the trig ranges and I didn't want to remember all of those. So I whipped this up. It's nothing special, but can really help you out if your in the same predicament I was in.

You enter two values (i.e. the side a and the angle alpha) of a triangle and you'll get all missing values! It's fantastic! And the program even shows you the steps, which are needed for the calculation (, if you want). The program is in German, but nearly everyone should understand it, because there are not much real words. In the zip-file are three different versions: TRIGO90.8XP is only for triangles with an angle of 90 degrees, TRIGOLI.8XP doesn't contains the special formulas for triangles with an angel of 90 degrees and TRIGO.8XP contains both versions.

|trigonometry_cheater.zip||1k||04-02-03||Trigonometry Cheater v1.1|
A simple >Frac converter just like under the [Math] menu. However, this does what TI doesn't give: converts trigonometric values. Lets say you did cos(5(pi)/4). This would normally give an unconvertable decimal, forcing you to do the work by hand. With this program, you don't have to! Just run this program and it will give a fraction! MOST beneficial for trigonometry students! This version fixes the ERR: DIVIDEBY0 bug.
This program is a section of my program Mathpro. This program covers trigonometry involving the sine and cosine rules. It can find the angle or length of a side of a triangle using the sine and cosine rules, as well as the area. Diagrams are included to help identify values reaquired for calculations.
Two awesome programs for the aspiring math student: rcis0 and TrigID. Both are invaluable when it comes down to memorizing for tests!
Probably sometime during Trigonometry class, the student has wished for programs on his calculator in order to check his work and in order to make his life much easier. He has searched the internet and has found nothing, but finally, extremely useful, hard-to find programs have finally made their way to the internet community, via TrigPak V1.0! This has many good programs to make the student’s life easier and to check his math on homework and tests. There are programs for general programs, logarithmic and Exponential expressions, Polynomial and rational expressions, and General trig programs. Unlike many other suites, some programs will link into other programs as a shell, which makes learning how to use those programs easier; all one really needs to do is learn about the main shelled functions Some examples of cool programs: Synthetic division Quadratic equation Quadratic equations format converter Radical simplifier Piecewise function grapher Rationalizer Calculator cleaner Circle Reference angle interpreter Normal/Reciprocal unit circle trig evaluator Transformational trig function grapher And much more! Read the including manual for more information and descriptions of programs

Version V2.0 of TrigPak has prettier output, cleaner and more efficient code, and utilizes CPanel Lib V1.0, made by me. The user MUST install CPanel Lib before using the suite. TrigPak V2.0 is a much better version, fixes many bugs, and has more dynamic menus. Overall, TrigPak has been greatly imrpoved. Try it today!

Juat a simple program i wrote for lazy people. It solves Phase shift, period, vertical shift, and amplitude from a given sin or cos equation. It also will give values for B and C in the equation y=Asin(BX+C)+D if you already know the phase shift and period. Displays answers in decimals and fractions in terms of pi
Using the equation of A[sin or cosine](BX+C)+D, it will find the ampiltude, phase shift, period and vertical shift for a sine or cosine wave. You can also input the period and phase shift from a graph and determine values for B and C.
This program performs all trig functions including finding lengths of non right angled triangles. Also exact values, units circle, identities and full working for all equations
TrigSolv is a program that I made that will solve any triangle known to man. Just enter any three measures of the triangle that you know (Execpt for 3 angles) and The whole triangle and triangle area will be shown. I have tested several of each type of triangle and have fixed all the bugs I found. If you do happen to find a bug, then email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know what numbers you input and the problem you had. I will fix it as soon as possible and post an update.

perfect for trig! this program uses the laws of sines and cosines to solve all cases of triangles. just select which type of triangle you have, enter the three given pieces of info and the program does the rest. there is even a warning if there are no solutions, two solutions, or if you need to check the angles. please give me some feedback so i can improve this thing.
|trisolve2.zip||1k||03-05-18||Right Triangle Solver|
Enter in two sides and it finds out the rest about the right triangle.
Fully functional SSA, which many others DO NOT have. Enter anything you know, and it solves for whatever is possible to solve for with the given information. Tested it on problems from every section of the Trig part in the math book and it solved everything. SA is side A, SB is side B, AA is angle A, so on. Enter all zeroes to exit.
This program will solve for any right triangle, and any triangle that you have all the side lengths of. It is easy to use.
Given 3 parts of a triangle, finds the other 3. Enter 0 for pieces that you do not know. Now handles the ambiguous case for the law of sines, and calculates the area of the triangle.
Solve triangles using the Laws of Sines or Cosines. Includes option for missing side or angle.
This program can solve for all angles and sides in any triangle for SSS,SSA,SAS,AAS, and ASA. For SSS and SSA it will determine if the triangle is possible and for SSA will give all possible solutions. Saves lots of time on homework and is good for competitions!
Solves any triangle when supplied with three or more parts (as long as it's not three angles). Put in numbers for what you do know, and zeros for what you don't, and it will solve the triangle, and also display area and perimeter. Please read the included documentation.
|trisolvr.zip||3k||02-06-01||Triangle Vars Solver|
TVS is a BASIC program that solves missing variables in a triangle (both right and non-right). The main advantage of this over other wanabe's is it shows its work. So far no known bugs...

|tritrig.zip||1k||02-03-03||Trigonometry Triangle Solver v1.0|
Given an angle and a side or two sides, this will solve the entire triangle, giving you all the sides and angles
Runs fast. Only 276 bytes. Provide dimensions of a triangle and it will tell you if it is acute triangle, obstuse traingle, or right triangle. Tested and works.
|triwhat.zip||1k||01-12-16||What type of triangle is it?|
Just type in the sides of the triangle and it will tell you if it is right, acute, obtuse, equilateral, scalene, or isosolese.
This program is forthright and easy to use. Coming in just under 2 KB, this program uses one mere variable X (no lists) to solve any triangle using the Law of Sines and the Law of Cosines, where one side and any other two parts of the triangle are inputted, even displaying all possible solutions in the case of an ambiguous case. Additionally, this program checks to see if such a triangle actually exists in the first place. Try this program, and I promise you won't be disappointed.
Will completly solve any triangle given three variables.
Calculates all values of a triangle and shows them graphical when you input two values of your choice.
|truetrianglesolver.zip||1k||04-04-09||the only tru triangle solver|
using only the coordinates, find everything you would ever want to know about a triangle! very useful in geometry
Give Three known information of a triangle and it will give you the three unknown information of a triangle and the area of the traingle.
Uses the laws of sines and cosines (and the distance formula) to solve, find the area of, AND DRAW any triagle given: 1 side and 2 angles, 2 sides and an opposite angle, 3 sides, 2 sides and an included angle, or 3 vertices. It can find no solution case and both solutions for the 2 solution case. It always stores the solution to L1 and if there is a second solution, it stores it to L2. When drawing the triangle, it adjusts the viewing rectangle to avoid distortion and shows which angle is A, B, or C (except when solving from vertices)
