But only for the mindless morons who can't think for themselves (the kind of people that think all processors are Pentiums, and Internet Explorer *is* the internet, etc.). I wouldn't think people who couldn't read the huge 'Windows' text at their boot screen would be programming calcs or hanging around this site.

Yea, it doesn't make any sense. Those with no computer experience probably use windows and should see the boot screen everytime they turn on their computer. Those with more computer experience probably use Mac or a form of Linux or something else altogether, but because of their experience they should know what it is. It doesn't make any sense. The most likely case is that this is either a joke or a blind n00b! ROFL

But they would be in the same group as the Linux/BSD users...

Isn't BeOS a proprietary OS made by the former company Be, Inc.?

Yes, it did support POSIX though. But the default windowing system and some other stuff was proprietary, similarly to how OS X is set up. BeOS has been sold to yellowTAB who now publish it under the name ZETA.

I should have voted for OS/2. But I voted for mac, because I rarely use my OS/2 system for anything usefull.

I don't think I've ever coded a byte that wasn't on the calc (that would end up on a calc) maybe that's because I do BASIC... but even my GFX I do on the comp then by hand on the calc

I have a question: How do you make an animated screenshot?
I know this is off topic, but this is the shortest post page.

Use an emulator and CalcCapture.

I practically only program on the calc. If Ti had a Ti connect for windows that had program editing capabilities than I would do some on the comp.

Then download Slackware! (or one of the Fedora Core series, if you're new to linux and don't want to waste hours editing your init scripts the way I've done)

Using Fedora also has the advantage that you get to use my TIGCC, TiEmu 3 and TiLP 2 RPMs. :-)
