The Einsteinian version is called "spacetime." Then again, we all know that quantum physics & relativity are apparently incompatible, so who cares? & Is it just me, or is quantum physics almost exactly like how we do not render parts of games that players cannot see? That would certainly lean toward the universe being a computer simulation. :)

which brings me to the experience i had watching part of "What the bleep do we know." correct me if i'm wrong, but there were an aweful lot of people spouting some really random bits of knowledge about quantum mechanics as if they knew exactly what they were talking about. but according to those quotes, there really cannot be any professional in that field of study, and any theory which is put forth is virtually automatically invalid as any valid theory implies that you hope it is a potential answer to the proverbial question posed by your field of study. anyway, i don't know what my point is, but i really couldn't stand the movie, or the ideas presented therein, as i really can't stand the idea of a world without absolutes (which is why i also hated "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead"). but that's just me. quantum mechanics are beyond my scope...

Quantum machanics is a good thing to think about when you have insomnia. Or when you're a PhD and you're getting paid.

StarCraft is a computer game (on Macs too). Basicly the Terrans from StarCraft are humans that lost contact with earth, and started to develop phycic powers. They generaly fight each other, the Zerg, or the Protoss.

I took it correctly, and thanks; I have a tendency to ignore games that don't work on the Mac.

Similar here...I have a tendency to ignore non-Linux programs & those commercial programs that only run on the distributions they think exist (& programs without RPMs because I am lazy).

Actually, yes. :) Plus, sometimes programs do not have such a simple install method (especially drivers for unpopular hardware). Plus, if I can find an RPM, that usually means it will uninstall itself if that ever becomes necessary (like, when upgrading). Then again, I am tempted to go back to Windows land, since my college has a deal for students to get XP Professional (& other Microsoft programs) for free, which probably just shows how desperate Microsoft is to stop piracy & the spread of Linux.

Well, other than Windows XP, what other Microsoft programs are actually worth using (that you can't find an improved, free analog for)? Instead of IE and Outlook, use Mozilla. Instead of the Office Suite, use OpenOffice....
