Way to go BasicBuilder!

I bet nearly every 83+/84+ user will vote for Basicbuilder :D. Go Basicbuilder!

On the contrary... I view it only as a way for BASIC spam to be packed into apps. I have seen/heard of/used/whatever something under ten useful basic programs (and of course, many more assembly ones).

You can't really blame the author for the way it's being used. I think it's pretty cool, but I guess most others don't. Oh well.

On the contrary: you can free up that RAM by compiling your Basic programs into an APP using BasicBuilder. Hense using that ROM. I'd like to see BasicBuilder append a password to open these APPs though =P

Why not just make your own password protect program and compile it with it...

I voted for maps2go (spelling?) it was the most inventive choice. Basic Builder just gave basic programmers a chance to make crappy programs apps (link).

BasicBuilder *is* a great idea, but unfortunately, that does seem like all it's being used for. :-/

I used it for making animated screenshots of my basic programs with Virtual TI 3. You can only send apps to that version of VTI.

PC = Personal Computer = Any computer that a person uses. Mac or Windows or Linux or Solaris or Amiga or ...

Besides, there was no Mac software featured this year.

Windows, Linux and Solaris are Operating Systems.
Macintosh, PC and Amiga are Computers. You can't call an Amiga or a Mac a PC.

An Amiga *is* a PC, it's just not a "PC". ;)

Although I may have been wrong on my terminology, I still contend that Macs/Amigas are PCs, as PC = Personal Computer. The computer you are calling a PC is more correctly referred to the "x86" platform.

Apple PC with MacOS installed on one partition, Win98 on the other. THAT'S confusing. =P

Wha? Is that possible? I suppose there are Windows emulators for Unix, and MacOSX runs on Unix, but there's a different hardware archetecture. How is this possible? Gaaah!!
