TICALC.ORG MAILING LISTS AND LIST ARCHIVES
All ticalc.org mailing lists are run from the server lists.ticalc.org
and are administered by ticalc.org staff. Several rules and regulations
apply to all lists hosted on that server. Please visit our
Site Policies section for
our mailing list rules.
- To subscribe to a list on lists.ticalc.org, send an email
from the address where you want to receive your mail (which must be the same as
the address you will be posting from) to:
<listname>-request@lists.ticalc.org
Leave the subject line empty, and in the body of the message, type:
SUBSCRIBE <listname>
where <listname> is the name of the mailing list you want to subscribe
to. You should momentarily receive a request from the mailing list server to
confirm that you want to subscribe to the list. Follow the instructions in the
confirmation email and you will be subscribed to the list.
- To unsubscribe from a list on lists.ticalc.org, send an email
from the address you used when you subscribed (this is important!) to:
<listname>-request@lists.ticalc.org
Leave the subject line empty, and in the body of the message, type:
UNSUBSCRIBE <listname>
where <listname> is the name of the mailing list you want to unsubscribe
from. You should momentarily receive confirmation from the mailing list server
that you have been successfully unsubscribed.
All the ticalc.org mailing lists are available in "digest mode." This means
that the mailing list server will collect all email sent to the mailing list
and send them out periodically in a single email containing all messages posted
since the list digest email was sent. Digest emails will normally be sent once
a day, but will be sent more often if there is a large amount of traffic on the
list. See the instructions received upon subscription for information on how
to set your subscription to digest mode.

If you were automatically unsubscribed from our mailing lists, it's
likely because your email account was bouncing messages back to our listserver
or mailing list mail could not be delivered for some other reason. You will
either be unsubscribed or set as nomail in Mailman, which means that
you will receive no mail on the list. When you have corrected your problem,
resubscribe to the list.
