[TI-M] complex matrixs etc.

(sorry for my english, but "math-english" is quite new for me)
i've bought my TI89 few days ago. i've already learned some basic
functions, but now i dont now how to:
__Solve equation of (complex) matrixs??__
i write sth like that:
solve([1,2;5,4]*[x;y]=[4,11],{x,y})
and TI says that "first argument of solve must be an equation or inequality"
what did i wrong?
is there any way to count on matrixs, maybe with other function then
solve() or csolve()
