The problem with analog, is take NTSC for an example is nick named "Never
the same color".

It is VERY hard to setup and isolate a perfect analog circut.  One of the
reasons RS-232, ST506, RS485, and diff-scsi can have such long cable
lengths is because of their differential interfaces.  (ie -15 volts for a 0
and +15 for a 1)  There is much more room for error.
