Its legal anywhere, but out of respect for other people
pot smoking is generally only done at home and in
coffee shops. While its legal to light up anywhere its
generally not done.

I don't know the laws about smoking during work
hours, I'd guess that its discouraged.

I would expect a somewhat smaller proportion of people
to pick up pot smoking than those that take up tobacco
smoking, mostly due to the fact that pot isn't physicly
addictive, and tobacco doesn't significantly impare brain
function. However, in such a society I would expect the
users to be familiar enough with it to smoke only what
the want and not end up stoned at work.

I don't know enough about either to venture an informed
opinion (I don't smoke either) but I'd guess that people
who were inclined to quite tobacco would have an easier
time doing so if MJ was available. I'd guess that its
mellowing effects would take the edge of the nicotine
cravings.

I haven't noticed any correlation, but then I don't know
that many pot smokers. Of the few I do know, about
half smoke both and half only smoke pot.

I agree, people who wish to smoke should be free
to do so, but I also think that they should in no way
hold the tobacco companies responsible for any
damages caused by such smoking.

The tobacco companies claimed for a long time that
smoking was not harmful or addictive, but any smoker
should have realised by simple observation that such
claims from tobacco companies are a conflict of
interest and contrary to empirical evidence.
