No, that is wrong. The servos don't work like that. You have to open it up,
and cut the stop notch from under the gear. Then you must supply the power
and the 'pulse' to adjust the "variable resistor" (that is not what it is
but I can't really think of the right word right now.) But it turns against
the servo, it is not something that can be replaced. Well, you adjust it
until you get the highest, continuous speed on the servo. When this is
reached you epoxy the "variable resistor" in place. Reassemble the servo and
things will work just fine.
