I think the Multia has a 60-110MHz bus (not sure).

To upgrade, you either plug in an external SCSI hd, or put one internal.
Alpha's come with builtin SCSI, and ethernet. (other things too)

I think they take SIMMS, but I'm not sure...  These days you could get
128MB ram for $60 or so...

And most of the alpha's come with parity ram.

--533MHz one (the above stuff doesn't apply down here...)--

I'd save up and get the 533MHz.  Last time I checked there was one available.

Go to www.dec.com.  The 533 is fairly new.  I'm going to try to buy a 233.
Then run RedHat.  I can't bring myself to destroy a 166.  :\
