TI-H: Still in desperate need of help

I need help from some of you learned calculator gurus. If anyone can
help me, please do. A small monetary compensation for your time is
not out of the question.

1. Does anyone have any technical data on the processors of the
TI-82 or TI-83 calculators? Please send it to me.

2. Does anyone know where I could find some (Other than TI-calc.org
or zilog.com)? Please tell me.

3. Can you make some up? Please do.

4. Judging from YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE or from your knowledge of
the two calculators, do you think that one of the calculators will
operate at a statistically higher speed than the other? I know all
of you should be able to come up with an answer for this one.

5. What would be a good way to test the speed of calculators? I'm
planning on doing it two ways: the first is running a program on
both calculators simultaneously which repeatedly increments a number
on the screen and seeing how high each calculator gets in a fixed
amount of time, and the second is seeing how long it takes the
calculators to solve some kind of complex equation. Any suggestions
on equations or on other ways I could test the speed of the
calculators? Is there any way to do it with a CBL or something?

6. Anybody have any other data/references/suggestions/etc?

7. Does anyone have any non-destructive ways to remove a broken-off
link cable from a port that someone with no electronic experience
could do? If I don't get any suggestions, I'll have use use one of
the more complicated, risky ways that have been suggested, and I'll
probably end up ruining my calculators like I've ruined every
electronic thing I've ever messed with.

Many thanks for your help, ladies and gentlemen.
