This is incorrect.

The TI-95 was introduced back in 1984-1985. Well before any of the TI
grahical calculators were introduced.

It had soft menu keys and was horizontal in nature.

This was back in the days when the TI-59 programmable calculator was being
withdrawn and TI introduced the CC-40 compact basic computer, the TI-74
Basicalc, and then the TI-95.
