Actually, as I posted previously, the HW2 isn't all that much better than
HW1.  From what I discern, everything that HW2 is can be put into effect on
the HW1 save the ROM protection, which is faulty on the HW1.  In my opinion,
that is what is best about HW1.  Should we eventually figure out how to send
our own ROM, we could write our own OS for the 89 on HW1.  It still might be
possible with the HW2 (decrypt TI's 512 bit RSA checksum...) but it is
highly unprobable.
