Hmm, rereading this...

You complain that he's whining, but you'll contact TI for him...
You say he's 10 yrs old w/o knowing his age...
You apologize for the 'crass language' that's not there...

But I am all in support of another petition to TI for new hardware.  I will
just say that if it's offered to me to switch my HW1 w/ a HW2, then I will
keep my HW1 just the same.  I don't care what other ppl think about games
and such and the HW2's being the major development calc.  From what I can
discern, any program written for HW2 (that doesn't use the keyboard matrix
[et al] directly) will work perfectly fine on an HW1.
