One more thing: when you write a program it is automaticaly
copyrighted to you and this can not be taken away from you. 
As long as you are the author of the program, you own the 
copyright (this is controlled by international law). 
It is as simple as that. Your being the copyright owner 
has *absolutely nothing* to do with

- any license you release the program under, or 

- whether you release the source or not, or

- any scheme trying to make the act of code duplication harder, or

- any third party asking for *your* money to allow your code to 
  run on their system
