Although I really recommend AmigaOS, you'd still have to buy new software,
AND new (old) hardware. The next generation Amiga, which will be a giant leap
from what the Amiga is today, will be out in the year 2000 and it will
definitely be a killer. So my advice is to save all those $s you mentioned
above while awaiting the new era.

Besides, there is no ti-83 emulator for AmigaOS afaik. =)
